About Aquarelle de Voyage
Aquarelle de Voyage began with a simple wish: to paint lovely things without spending three hours trying to draw a window straight.
I love how unpredictable watercolor can be. Colors mingle, water occasionally has a mind of its own, and little accidents often become the loveliest details. Most of all, I love that moment when you sit down with a brush and everything else can wait a little.
I wanted to make that feeling accessible, even if you cannot draw London from memory. Which, I suspect, is quite a few of us.
So I created Aquarelle de Voyage: paint-your-own posters inspired by cities and places you would happily linger in, with delicate outlines and a guide to help you get started, mix colors and find your feet.
The drawing gives you a starting point. After that, you can make it yours. A red car might turn green, a sky might stay almost white, a façade might end up pinker than planned. That is part of what makes each painting personal.
Each collection is a little escape: a few sheets of paper, some water, a little color and time to pick up a brush.
